Overview

Le Germinal POINT G, nestled on 95 Avenue Emile Zola in the heart of Paris's 15th arrondissement, offers a charming brasserie experience that blends classic French flavors with a touch of contemporary comfort. This cozy corner spot invites locals and travelers alike to slow down and savor thoughtfully prepared dishes in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.

The menu shines most notably with its well-executed main courses: from the creamy risotto crowned with crispy chicken and earthy mushrooms to the traditional beef tartare served alongside perfectly golden homemade fries. Seafood lovers will appreciate the fresh, skillfully prepared fish and chips, while those seeking lighter fare can turn to their vibrant salads or the hearty Planche de Charcuterie, showcasing a selection of fine cured meats. For a genuine taste of French comfort, the Camembert roasted with honey and thyme, paired with fresh salad and fries, stands out as a delicacy not to be missed.

Le Germinal POINT G caters to diverse palates, offering an array of tapas and snack plates like fried calamari beignets and croque monsieur that pair beautifully with a glass of wine or coffee. Their desserts, especially the classic crème brûlée, provide a perfect finish that reflects culinary finesse with subtle indulgence.

The space itself is cozy but well-arranged, maintaining a balance between intimacy and vibrancy. It is ideal for those who want to escape the bustle of Parisian streets without sacrificing the city’s quintessential dining experience. The staff complement the setting with friendliness and warmth, though some visitors note the occasional rush during busier hours, hinting at room for a more leisurely pace suitable for travelers seeking to linger over their meals.

Overall, Le Germinal POINT G bridges traditional French bistro style with modern demands, making it a versatile venue for weekday lunches, casual dinners, or a relaxed stop while exploring Paris. Its approachable menu and welcoming atmosphere make it a dependable choice for anyone craving authentic French fare served with heart in one of the city’s welcoming neighborhoods.

I love this place. the food never disspoint you, place is cozy and the staff are friendly. just one small input from me is: as a traveller, at times we need more time sitting in the resto to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Paris and the food which I found i was being rushed to pay bill once I almost done with the meal (not really finsihed my meal and they have given me the bill and keep asking me such that I felt uncomfortable).

Didn’t read about this place beforehand, was just very hungry and went to the closest restaurant. It didn’t disappoint, however, the service was extremely slow. Prices are not so cheap but also it isn’t an expensive place. It was cozy and the food was okay, just wish the service was a bit faster

We were in the area in a weekday and stopped here for lunch. It's a cute little brasserie on a corner with less street noise than the nearby blocks. The staff were very friendly! We chose the boeuf tartare and penne with jambon and truffle sauce, both were very good, in fact that tartare was amazing. They had several desserts you could include in the lunch special. Overall we had a great experience and will go back next time we're in that part of town.

We stayed there for an aperitivo, but the IPA and wine were very good, as were the fries we ordered. Personnel super funny and a cool place to have dinner!

Wonderful little place near our hotel. The food is listed as homemade, and it sure tasted great! Not high end, but if you are looking for just a nice little place to hang out that won't break the bank, you should check it out.
